Obituary

Kenneth L. Dietrich, age 70, of rural Mayville passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Funeral services for Kenneth will take place on Wednesday, September 19 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Community Center in tn. Herman with the Rev. Jeffery Drake officiating. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 18 from 4-8 p.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and again on Wednesday, September 19 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at Trinity Community Center in Tn. Herman. Burial will take place at Zum Kripplein Christi Cemetery.

Ken was born the son of Ervin H. and Etta Mae (Bowden) Dietrich on January 17, 1948 in Marshfield. He was a graduate of Lomira High School in 1967. Ken was united in marriage to Florence Christian on August 15, 1970 at Zum Kripplein Christi Ev. Lutheran Church. He spent his life diary farming in rural Mayville. In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting and visiting with his neighbors. Family was very important to Ken and he cherished the time spent with them. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Huilsburg.

Ken is survived by his wife- Florence of Mayville. His children- Chad (Bobbie) Dietrich of Iron Ridge, Tracy (Richard) Gerth of Kekoskee, and Carrie (Jay) Ripple of Mayville. His grandchildren- Ashley (special friend Nicholas Johnson) Dietrich, Mark (finace' Morgan Antonioni) Dietrich, Rebecca Dietrich, Dylan Dietrich, Cora Gerth, Mason Gerth, Makayla Ripple, Mitchell Ripple, and Mariah Ripple. His brothers- Orville Dietrich of Jefferson and Arnold Dietrich of Madison. His sister- Marlene Drake of Portage. His sisters in law- Phyllis (Gwyn) Held, LaMae Jacobs, and Patricia (Randall) Sternberg. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Lucille Fischer, brothers Ervin and Ronald Dietrich, twin boys in infancy, and step mother Frances Dietrich.
